Sports Performance

Here at Evo Studio, we train people of all ages from the recreational sports enthusiast to the elite athlete. Our facility can also accommodate high-performance athletes, amateur athletes from professional to collegiate levels and club levels alike.

Sports performance is a training of the body and the mind to prepare athletes of all levels. Unlike broader general fitness approaches, our coaching staff will design and implement training specific to each sport and position played by the individual. They will work with you to improve your movement technique, decrease the risk of injury and optimize overall performance.

The focus is to enhance the athlete’s performance and to develop a sport-specific strength and conditioning program that increases the athlete’s overall athleticism – strength, agility, speed, power, coordination and balance as it relates to the sport in which they compete. For example, a volleyball player who is involved in the Sports Performance program will be performing exercises that mimic the movement patterns required on the volleyball court: focusing on reaction time, balance, vertical leap, agility and high-intensity interval training. This type of approach is sure to develop specific abilities needed to excel in competition.

Over time, through coaching, the athletes naturally gain self-confidence by experiencing the results of their hard work, determination, and commitment to their specific workout regimen. This will help the athlete to be physically and mentally prepared and helps to remove self-doubt and to be in the best possible position to succeed in their chosen sport.
